Reykjavík – Skógar – Sólheimajökull – Vík – Reykjavík
This tour explores the expansive landscapes of Iceland’s southern coast, nestled between snow-capped glaciers and the sea, punctuated by some of the country’s largest rivers. The journey begins with a stop at Seljalandsfoss, beneath Eyjafjallajökull, before continuing to Skógafoss and the cultural museum at Skógar. This museum, with its turf-covered roof, is one of the most fascinating in the country.
The tour continues eastward, passing the impressive Mýrdalsjökull glacier to Vík, Iceland’s southernmost village. The day concludes with a seafood dinner at Víkurskáli restaurant, accompanied by beer and Icelandic schnapps, before returning to Reykjavík.
